Your first call should always be your Low Vision Aids Clinicwho will normally be able to lend you various magnifying devices which may help you to use whatever residual vision is remaining to read and see a little better at different distances. No one device will do all jobs, and it is unlikely that you will get anything to help you to see, for example, television subtitles.
