Higham Hall is the Lake District's Residential College for Continuing Education, situated at Cockermouth, near to Bassenthwaite Lake.
The college is a beautiful old listed building which offers variety of courses, including stained glass workshops, bridge for beginners, T'ai Ji and music workshops, to name but a few.
Higham now produces its brochure on tape and in large print and welcomes guests with a visual impairment. The Friends of Higham Bursary Fund is to help people who wish to attend a course at Higham but for a variety of reasons are unable to find the fees for the course.
